I met Anna through volunteering in Stoke Park and the Neighbourhood partnership groups. Anna was always so supportive of our activities and with so many other community groups too. Although I had moved away I still enjoyed reading Anna's updates on Facebook and miss her online presence. Sending condolences to Anna's family.

In memory of Anna George, her warmth and kindness, in the face of adversity. I am thankful for many moments where she generously offered calm advice over the decades and also for her sense of humour in those other moments when everything seemed too much.

Like so many of my colleagues, I joined the Western Regional Group while Anna was at the helm. She welcomed us into the group with warmth and gave her time so generously. Thank you Anna!

I was so sad to hear about Anna's passing. Anna was one of the first practising translators who I met after joining ITI’s Western Regional Group as a fledgling translator. She was also a very good friend. She will be sorely missed!

I was so shocked and sorry to discover that Anna had passed away. Anna was one of the first people I met when I came to live in Bristol more than 20 years ago. She was the coordinator of ITI's Western Regional Group for 25 years and a supportive member subsequently. She was also a great and sympathetic friend. She tackled her health problems with a positive resolve. I really hoped she would have been well enough to meet up with colleagues again this year (as she had also hoped in her emails), but sadly this was not to be the case. Sending much love to Harry and Michael and Anna's wider family. She is much missed, Alison xx
